TriStar Series 45A Charge Controller

Morningstar's full function off-grid Maximum Power Point Tracker (MPPT) charge controllers are rated at 45 amps of charge current. This is a popular controller for systems of 500W or more and was designed with Canadian photovoltaic systems in mind!

The MPPT algorithm is particularly efficient, resulting in greater energy harvest during the summer and during low-light conditions in wintertime. It allows the use of high voltage solar panels to charge conventional battery systems.

Now array wiring can be done with smaller gauge wires or with longer wire runs!
